TYUMEN, May 1. The water level in the Ishim River in the village of Vikulovo, Vikulovsky district, Tyumen region, rose by 42 centimeters in twelve hours and by 20.00 (18.00 Moscow time) reached 1102 centimeters, exceeding the critical level of the dangerous phenomenon by 102 centimeters.
According to hydrological bulletins from the Telegram channel of the government of the Tyumen region, at 20.00 (18.00 Moscow time) on May 1, the water level in the Ishim River in the village of Vikulovo rose by 42 centimeters — to 1102 centimeters (critical 1000 cm), at 8.00 (6.00 Moscow time) the water rose was recorded at 1060 centimeters.
On Wednesday afternoon, Governor Alexander Moor announced that the flood on the Ishim River had moved to the village of Vikulovo, Tyumen Region, the maximum in this area is expected on May 8-9.
According to open sources, about 15 thousand people live in the Vikulovsky district. According to information published on the website flood72.rf, there are 19 settlements in the potential flooding zone in this area, including the regional center — the village of Vikulovo, which has more than 7 thousand residents.
A state of emergency due to flooding was introduced in the Tyumen region April 8. According to the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of Wednesday, 271 residential buildings, 523 country houses, 3,037 household plots, and 27 sections of roads were flooded in 37 settlements in the region.
