“In the Orenburg region, the operational situation regarding the flood is improving, and the elimination of its consequences continues. In the region, 121 residential buildings and 95 household plots were cleared of water within 24 hours. In total, on the territory of 33 municipalities in 108 settlements and 46 SNT, water left 23,305 residential buildings and More than 748,962 cubic meters of water were pumped out from 42,799 household plots,” the report says.

According to regional authorities, in 11 municipalities 11 bridges remain closed to traffic. 18,605 residential buildings, 31 social infrastructure facilities, and 747 individual wells were disinfected. Quality control of disinfection of 188 individual tube wells and 9021 cesspools was carried out. 5,718 samples of water and food products were taken for laboratory research.
Since April 7, a federal emergency has been in effect in the Orenburg region.
