The output of the engine, upgraded to meet current Euro 6E standards, is the same 830 hp, and the maximum torque has decreased to 678 Nm.
Despite the fact that mass manufacturers are trying to enter the “green” era with varying degrees of success, companies producing mainly sports cars are in no hurry to abandon powerful internal combustion engines, although some sacrifices have to be made go and them. Today, the Italian brand presented its new supercar in two versions — the Ferrari 12Cilindri coupe and 12Cilindri Spider.

The new product replaces the Ferrari 812 Superfast, which appeared in 2017. The Ferrari 12Cilindri is equipped with an upgraded version of the naturally aspirated 6.5-liter V12 engine with direct fuel injection. The F140HD engine received titanium connecting rods instead of steel (their weight is 40% less), as well as lighter pistons and crankshaft.
The power of the engine, upgraded to meet current Euro 6E econorms, remained at the level of the 2021 Ferrari 812 Competizione: it is 830 hp. at 9250 rpm (peak value — 9500 rpm). At the same time, the torque was reduced to 678 Nm at 7250 rpm; for comparison, the Ferrari 812 had 718 Nm, and the Competizione version had 692 Nm. In the Ferrari 12Cilindri, this V12 engine is paired with an eight-speed DCT robot from Magna.
According to the manufacturer, the maximum speed of sports cars exceeds 340 km/h. The dry weight of the coupe is 1560 kg, such a car is capable of reaching the first “hundred” in 2.9 seconds, and accelerates from 0 to 200 km/h in 7.9 seconds. The Ferrari 12Cilindri Spider is heavier due to a different design, its dry weight is 1620 kg. This sports car accelerates from zero to 100 km/h in 3.0 seconds, and to 200 km/h in 8.3 seconds.
The model received a wire-by-wire braking system, as well as a new version of the electronic sliding control assistant SSC (Side Slip Control). The length of the Italian sports car 12Cilindri is 4733 mm, width – 2176 mm, height – 1292 mm, and the distance between the axles is 2700 mm (20 mm shorter than the wheelbase of the Ferrari 812). Body torsional rigidity has been increased by 15%.
The design developers of the Ferrari 12Cilindri were inspired by the historical heritage of the brand. In particular, the front end is a nod to the legendary 365 GTB/4 Daytona with visually sharp headlights with a high-gloss black element between them. The coupe was equipped with a glass roof panel, and the 12Cilindri Spider received a folding hard top, the transformation of which takes 14 seconds.
The stern is equipped with active aerodynamic elements on the sides; they rise at speeds from 60 to 300 km/h, which helps to increase downforce (this gives an additional 50 kg at a speed of 280 km/h). The new sports car also has shutters behind the front wheels, they are used to reduce excess pressure in the engine compartment.

The interior of the Ferrari 12Cilindri borrowed a lot from the Purosangue crossover, although the supercar has not two displays, but three. The diagonal of the virtual tidy is 15.6 inches, the touchscreen of the infotainment system is 10.25 inches, and the front passenger gets an 8.8-inch screen. The list of equipment includes wireless charging for smartphones, as well as a 1600-watt Burmester sound system with fifteen speakers.
The company has already announced the starting price tags for new products in Italy. For the Ferrari 12Cilindri coupe they are asking for at least 395,000 euros (equivalent to approximately 38.9 million rubles at the current exchange rate), and the cost of the 12Cilindri Spider starts at 435,000 euros (about 42.9 million rubles).
