TYUMEN, May 5.< /strong> Large waters of the Tobol River flooded roads to three settlements of the Zavodoukovsky urban district of the Tyumen region, reports the information center of the regional government.
«The Zavodoukovsky urban district of the Tyumen region encountered high water. In the municipality, roads to the village of Novolybaevo, the village of Komarova, and the village of Sungurovo were flooded; houses were not affected by the disaster,» the message states. 
According to the head of the settlement, Olga Shusharina, the authorities “provided a number of preventive measures in a timely manner, but the water came in large quantities and surrounded the settlements in a ring.” She emphasized that a difficult situation had developed in the territory, but they had prepared for it in advance.
Earlier, Governor Alexander Moor reported that water from the Tobol River unexpectedly flowed along the old bed, along the floodplain and flooded roads in the Zavodoukovsky urban district, road services and employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are quickly strengthening protective structures.
A report from the regional government information center notes that special transport is used to cross the isolated settlements. A supply of food and water has been created. The central water supply sources are not flooded. Employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the police are constantly on duty at the site, road services are working, and fire trucks are stationed. The entire population has been notified of the possibility of moving to a temporary accommodation center or hospital for medical reasons.
In the Zavodoukovsky urban district, according to information from open sources, more than 46.7 thousand people live; in the zone of probable flooding, according to the website flood72.rf, there are the village of Gilevo, the village of Ponomareva and the village of Novolybaevo.
A state of emergency due to flooding in the Tyumen region was introduced on April 8. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, as of Sunday, 385 residential buildings, 345 country houses, 3,232 personal plots, 35 sections of roads were flooded in 47 settlements.
