Baza reports the death of the wife of Moscow deputy Demin, who had previously reported domestic violence
Baza, citing sources, reports the death of the wife of the deputy from the capital’s Babushkinsky Municipal District Valery Demin. The Telegram channel, citing sources, writes that a woman recently accused her husband of beating her.
According to Baza, at the end of February, Anastasia Demina accused her husband of domestic violence. According to the channel's sources, the woman wrote a statement to the police, saying that her husband, after returning from the SVO zone, allegedly beat her for poor housework, which she could not do due to a previously suffered shoulder fracture. Also, Baza sources stated that Demina called the main reason for the discord in the family another woman, whom, according to her, her husband met. Telegram channel sources stated that after a family scandal, Demina went to the hospital, but later withdrew her statement from the police. The Ministry of Internal Affairs did not officially confirm the receipt of a statement from Demina.
Baza reports that on May 6, 42-year-old Demina died at home. The woman’s relatives, according to the channel’s sources, told the police that she had recently felt unwell, took a lot of painkillers and complained of panic attacks. It is reported that on Monday the woman went to bed when the children went for a walk, but upon returning they found the mother already dead.
Official information about the death of the deputy’s wife has not yet been received.
