MOSCOW, May 9. Russian tennis player Ekaterina Alexandrova could not come out into the third round of the WTA 1000 tournament in Rome, the prize fund of which exceeds 4.7 million euros.
In the second round match, the Russian woman, seeded 14th, lost heavily to Alexandra Sosnovich from Belarus with a score of 0:6, 1:6. The tennis players spent 59 minutes on the court.
In the third round, Sosnovich will play with the representative of Germany, Angelique Kerber.
