ST. PETERSBURG, May 10. The St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office began an investigation after an accident with a bus that fell from the Potseluev Bridge into the river, with about 20 people inside, the department's press service reports on the Telegram channel.
«The St. Petersburg Prosecutor's Office is monitoring the identification of all circumstances of a traffic accident involving a bus that fell from the Potseluev Bridge into the river,” the report says.
Earlier, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported that the bus, in the cabin of which, according to preliminary data, there were about 20 people fell from a bridge into the Moika River in St. Petersburg, passengers are being pulled out of the water.
It is noted that the city prosecutor's office will check compliance with road safety legislation. Based on the results of the inspection, comprehensive prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
