MOSCOW, May 10. Russian tennis player Pavel Kotov could not come out into the third round of the Masters series tournament in Rome, the prize fund of which exceeds 7.8 million euros.
In the second round meeting, the Russian lost to American Ben Shelton (12th seed) with a score of 6:4, 3:6, 4:6. The duration of the match was 2 hours 40 minutes.
In the third round, Shelton's opponent will be Chinese representative Zhang Zhizhen.
