The attack on Rovenki (Lugansk People's Republic) by the armed formations of Ukraine could have been carried out by US-made ATACMS cluster munitions, said the head of the republic Leonid Pasechnik.

He noted that three people were killed in the shelling and eight more were wounded.

Previously it was reported that on Friday evening the Ukrainian Armed Forces attacked an oil depot in Rovenki. Local residents report this on social networks and instant messengers. A fire broke out at the scene of the attack. The column of fire is visible several kilometers from the epicenter.

LPR Health Minister Natalia Pashchenko previously reported that the number of those killed during the shelling of the oil depot in Rovenki had increased to three, seven people were injured, four of them in serious condition.

Ukrainian armed forces regularly shell Russian regions, both border and rear, using drones, missiles and multiple launch rocket systems, and, more recently, balloons.
