Over the past few years, the holding has implemented a number of social projects in Sochi. In 2024, in the resort city, the developer is carrying out large-scale reconstruction work on the upper part of the 80th Anniversary Park of the Krasnodar Territory, located in the Makarenko microdistrict.
The lighting network in the upper part of the park was expanded, pedestrian paths were repaired, gabion fences and railings were installed along the sidewalks in places with a large slope. Retaining walls were landscaped, small architectural forms were installed: elegant wooden benches, sofas and pergolas. The territory was decorated with an art object — a three-meter sculpture of a cat from a fairy tale by Alexander Sergeevich Pushkin. There are well-appointed recreation areas where park visitors can play chess and table tennis. Additionally, landscaping was carried out: viburnum, cherry laurel, flax, rosemary, juniper, ivy, oak and other plants were planted.
The sports ground damaged by the landslide has also been repaired, where the equipment will be restored and new exercise equipment will be installed. Cozy recreation areas with gazebos will also be organized here for a pleasant pastime playing chess and dominoes in the shade of trees. And sports fans will appreciate the workout zones.
“A modern city is an ecosystem where favorable living conditions must be created. City parks are important, where people can relax in nature from the bustle of the city. I am sure that the updated square will become a new point of attraction and a favorite vacation spot for residents and guests of the resort city,” commented Sergei Berdin, general director of the developer AVA in Sochi.
Landscape Park of the 80th Anniversary of Krasnodar region with an area of more than 14 hectares has the status of a specially protected natural area. It is located in a large forest area with rare species of plants and animals listed in the Red Book of the Russian Federation. In this regard, the landscaping of the territory is carried out according to the principle of maximum respect for nature. This approach involves collaboration with leading landscape architects, ecologists, dendrologists and social activists.
