The Russian manufacturer will announce the start of sales of station wagons and vans in the coming weeks. The recommended retail price for the passenger version will be at least 1.66 million rubles, for the commercial version – at least 1.67 million rubles.
Lada Largus has returned to the model line of the Russian brand. Let us remember that initially, in 2012, the production of this model, which is based on the first generation Dacia Logan MCV, started at a plant in Tolyatti. Largus, produced in van, passenger station wagon and cross-version versions of the latter, has undergone restyling in 2021. But already in the spring of 2022, the production of all Lada models was temporarily stopped due to a shortage of components.

After this, AVTOVAZ looked for new suppliers and optimized the operation of its enterprises. As a result, the production of Lada Vesta was transferred in full to the Togliatti plant, and it was decided to organize the production of Lada Largus at the site in Izhevsk. The production of a pilot batch of vans started in the second half of February, a few days later they were joined by “trial” passenger station wagons.

Today, May 15, serial production of passenger and commercial versions of Lada Largus started at the Izhevsk plant. According to the company's press center, the first to roll off the assembly line were a station wagon in the Classic configuration and a van. According to the manufacturer's plan, up to 50 thousand copies will be produced by the end of this year, this number includes a completely “green” version, which is called e-Largus.
The exact restart date is still Lada Largus sales have not been announced, it is only known that the cars will reach dealers in the coming weeks. The starting recommended retail price of a station wagon and a van is already known: purchasing a passenger version will cost the client no less than 1,660,000 rubles, a commercial version will cost at least 1,670,000 rubles.

The company said that during the period from September 2023 to January 2024, they managed to move, install and launch over 1,200 pieces of equipment. The press production of the Izhevsk plant has mastered thirteen stamped parts: the list includes the roof, doors, fenders, hood, sidewalls. The press service added that by the end of the year, large and medium stamping parts (a total of more than sixty positions) will be mastered. In addition, thirteen robots were installed in the welding production, and five main body colors of the model were mastered in the painting production; dynamic test stands were calibrated on the assembly line for Largus.

The start of sales of Lada e-Largus is scheduled for the third quarter of this year. The head of AVTOVAZ, Maxim Sokolov, previously noted that the number of copies of the “green” version produced will depend on the volume of demand and the availability of government support measures. According to him, the price of e-Largus will be comparable to non-localized Chinese electric vehicles.
The company said that the capacity of Line No. 1 of the plant in Tolyatti will now be used for other models of the brand. So, here in the fall of this year it is planned to launch the production of “official” Lada Aura sedans, and at the beginning of 2026 a crossover based on Vesta will hit the assembly line.
