The four-door debuted with a hybrid setup and a fairly impressive list of standard equipment. In total, the model currently has three configurations.
Certification photos show the Lynk & Co 07 appeared in the winter, the brand itself revealed its new product in March, and the public premiere was held in April at the Beijing Motor Show. So now sales have started in China. Let us remind you that the brand Lynk & Co is a joint project between Geely and Volvo (the Swedish company, in turn, is owned by the Chinese). “Seven”, despite the index, has already become the eighth model and only the second four-door in the range: it is one step above the Lynk & Co 03.

At the heart of Lynk & Co 07 is the modernized CMA (Compact Modular Architecture) platform with the Evo prefix. The length of the new product is 4827 mm, width – 1900 mm, height – 1480 mm, wheelbase – 2843 mm. That is, in terms of dimensions, the “seven” is close to the restyled Kia K5 sedan. Model Lynk & Co 03 is more compact: length – 4684 mm, distance between the axles – 2730 m. The passport ground clearance 07 is only 138 mm (without load). Trunk volume – 450 liters.
The exterior was designed in the current corporate style of Lynk & Co, which set the concept for Next Day, presented in 2022. This style has already been tested on the newest crossover Lynk & Co 08 and the modernized Lynk & Co 06. Characteristic features are running lights made in the form of LED “games”, narrow blocks of main headlights, which are also united by a glass strip, and “strokes” on a single plate of rear lights. In addition, the sedan received frameless doors with retractable handles. The default model has 18-inch wheels, 19-inch wheels are optionally available.

Separate screens for the instrument panel and multimedia system are installed in the cabin, and the central tablet can be rotated 15 degrees in passenger side. The four-door also gets a flattened steering wheel and a two-story tunnel with two wireless charging pads for smartphones. Instead of the usual gearbox selector there is a steering column lever.

Lynk & The Co 07 debuted as a front-wheel drive plug-in hybrid. The EM-P installation includes a 1.5 petrol turbo-four (163 hp) and a 218-horsepower electric motor. Total output – 381 hp. and 615 Nm. The sedan is equipped with a battery with a capacity of 18.99 kWh. On electric power alone, it will be able to travel 126 km on the local CLTC cycle. It was announced that the first “hundred” of Lynk & Co 07 will reach speed in 6.5 seconds, maximum speed is 190 km/h.

The model is offered in three versions. The base includes LED optics, a panoramic sunroof, heated and ventilated front seats (plus “memory” settings), climate control, those same two screens (the instrument panel is 10.2 inches in size, the central touchscreen is 15.4 inches diagonal), cameras all-round visibility, adaptive cruise control, auto braking systems, blind spot monitoring and lane keeping. Starting with the second-oldest configuration, nappa leather trim, a massager for the front seats (in addition, speakers are built into the headrests) and a frameless interior mirror with an auto-dimming function appear. The top-end sedan also has a head-up display with augmented reality, rear seats with heating, ventilation and a massager, and a heated steering wheel. Options include separate screens for rear passengers and an expanded range of assistants.
Price Lynk & Co 07 lies in the range from 169,800 to 189,800 yuan, which is equivalent to approximately 2,135,000 – 2,387,000 rubles at the current exchange rate. After the “seven” masters the domestic market, it will most likely be exported. In Russia, the brand Lynk & Co is not officially represented, but dealers have long established “parallel” deliveries.
Meanwhile, the joint brand of Geely and Volvo is preparing to debut its first full-fledged electric car – it will be a sedan or a liftback, it has already been shown in camouflage.
