Military expert Vasily Dandykin expressed the opinion that long daylight hours play into the hands of the Russian military, which is conducting an offensive in the Kharkov region. He called him “an unexpected ally of Russia.”

“Daylight works for us, not allowing the Ukrainian Armed Forces to move secretly and bring up reinforcements,” the specialist explained in an interview with News.ru.

He also suggested that Ukrainian units are now suffering serious losses in this direction and it will be difficult for them to stop the advance of Russian forces.

Dandykin suggested that Russian fighters have the ability, with the help of artillery and aviation, to strike at logistics, preventing the delivery personnel, weapons, ammunition and equipment to the Kharkov direction.
