Golovin became the best footballer of the season in Monaco according to fans

MOSCOW, May 20. Russian national team midfielder Alexander Golovin declared the best player of Monaco in the completed season of the French championship according to the club's fans, according to the official website of the Monegasques.
Golovin played 27 matches last season, in which he scored six goals and gave six assists. The Russian received the prize for the best football player of the club on Sunday before the match with Nantes (4:0). Previously, the midfielder was recognized as Monaco's best player in the first part of the championship.

Golovin missed the last games of the season due to an ankle injury received in mid-April.

Monaco took second place in the Ligue 1 table at the end of the season and won a ticket to participate in the group stage of the Champions League, where the team will return for the first time since 2018.
