This model of the Chinese brand differs from other versions due to a modified exterior and a different interior. The company has not yet announced the price of this hybrid.
The premium brand Voyah, owned by the Chinese concern Dongfeng, appeared in the summer of 2020. It is assumed that the brand name evokes associations with the word “voyage”, which means “travel” in English. As Kolesa.ru reported earlier, the first-born of the brand was the Free crossover, which debuted in December 2020. In the home market, sales started in August next year, and in the Russian Federation this SUV appeared at the end of 2022.

In China, the model underwent a restyling in the summer of 2023. Now this option has reached the Russian market, however, it is positioned as a sports version of the current Voyah Free EVR crossover. The new product with the addition of Sport Edition to the name made its debut in the Russian Federation at the end of last month as part of the 46th Moscow International Film Festival.
The new version of the crossover is distinguished by a new radiator grille of a narrower shape and with a pattern of glossy black plastic elements. In the center is the brand logo, and on top there is a luminous strip connecting the headlights to each other. The Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition also has a different design for the lower part of the front bumper with an integrated air intake.
The rear also looks different: the car received a different spoiler, located on the top of the tailgate. The company explained that this element increases downforce at high speeds. In addition, the Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition received a set of original five-spoke 20-inch black wheels. The color palette includes: sky blue, sparkling black, jade green, arctic white and bronze (all with a metallic effect).
The interior of the sport version can be made in three options: black with dark blue elements, brown-red with ivory inserts, and beige with dark blue accents. The Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition has a different arrangement of some functional elements and controls, and the center console has also been revised. The gear selector has been moved to the steering column.
A multifunction display is provided for rear passengers. With it, you can play music files, adjust the sequence and volume of their playback, change the climate control parameters, setting the desired temperature, power and direction of airflow, as well as control the sunshade and panoramic roof (available as an option).

The interior also received atmospheric interior lighting with 64 color options to choose from, a lift-up front panel with three displays, each 12.3 inches diagonal. The menu of the infotainment system is Russified, and there is also the ability to control gestures. The list of equipment includes many electronic assistants, including adaptive cruise control with a speed limiter, parking assistant, all-round cameras, lane keeping and emergency braking systems.
Recall that the sports version of Voyah Free EVR is equipped with a hybrid power plant, which includes a gasoline turbo engine that acts as a generator to recharge the traction battery. In this case, two electric motors are directly responsible for the movement (one on each axis), their total output is 490 hp, maximum torque is 720 Nm. The capacity of the traction battery is 39.2 kWh. The total range is 1000 km (when calculated using the WLTP cycle). This crossover takes 4.8 seconds to accelerate from zero to “hundreds”, and the maximum speed is 200 km/h.
The new product is now available for pre-order in the Russian Federation, but at the local representative office The companies have not yet officially announced the cost of the Voyah Free EVR Sport Edition.
