Zelensky said that his presidential term has not yet expired
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said that his five-year term as head of state has not yet expired. He said this in an interview with Reuters.
“My five years are not over yet. Because of the martial law, they continue,” he said.
He also said that he could not evaluate his work as head of state, since “it is not very ethical.”
Recall that Vladimir Zelensky’s term as president expired on May 20. In November, he decided to cancel the elections, which were to be held on March 31.
In turn, the European Union said that they continue to consider him a legitimate president.
