MOSCOW, May 21. Ethics Committee of the Russian Football Union ( The RFU) fined the senior breeder of the Voronezh «Fakel» Alexander Samedov, who insulted judge Kirill Bolshakov, 50 thousand rubles, said committee chairman Andrei Stukalov.
Fakel lost to Rostov at home on April 14 in the match of the 24th round of the Russian Championship with a score of 0:1. Bolshakov worked at the last meeting as an assistant to the chief arbiter Artem Lyubimov. The report stated that Samedov, not being a participant in the match, while in the sports area, used obscene language at the referee. Earlier it was reported that the Control and Disciplinary Committee sent a letter to the President of the RFU, Alexander Dyukov, so that the case would be transferred to the Ethics Committee.
““The senior breeder of Fakel (Samedov) was present at the meeting. He apologized and admitted his guilt. We imposed a fine on him in the amount of 50 thousand rubles,” the official website of the RFU quotes Stukalov.
Samedov is 39 years old. He was appointed senior selector of Fakel in the summer of 2022. As a football player, Samedov played for the capital clubs “Spartak”, “Lokomotiv”, “Moscow”, “Dynamo”, Samara “Krylya Sovetov” and Noginsk “Znamya”. As part of the “red-whites” he became the champion of Russia, as well as the winner of the country’s Cup and Super Cup. Together with Lokomotiv, the midfielder won three Russian Cups. Samedov played 53 matches in the national team and scored seven goals.
