MOSCOW, May 21. All 17 victims of a partial building collapse have been identified in Belgorod after a strike by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported in the Telegram channel of the RF IC.
“»On May 12, during an attack by Ukrainian armed formations in the city of Belgorod, a shell hit a residential multi-storey building, after which one of the entrances collapsed. As a result of this terrorist act, 17 were killed people, 19 were injured. As part of the criminal case, genetic and other examinations were carried out, as a result of which the identities of all the dead were established,” the message says.
On May 12, Belgorod was subjected to massive shelling by the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The missile warning signal was announced in the city several times throughout the day. The explosion caused the third entrance to a ten-story building to collapse. According to the latest data, 17 people were killed when the entrance collapsed, three more were killed during the evening shelling, and 27 people were injured. As Governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said, a decision was made to restore the partially collapsed house in the same place. On May 15, workers began dismantling two entrances, which totals 89 apartments.
