The world premiere of the new generation Toyota Land Cruiser Prado all-terrain vehicle with the factory index J250 took place last summer. The model is slowly expanding into the global market. So, it can already be purchased in Japan, the USA and China, in addition, applications are open in Europe. Well, now the new SUV is also available for order in Kazakhstan: the start of “live” sales there is scheduled for June of this year.

Recall that the new LC Prado is based on the GA-F platform, on which the latest Lexus GX and older models Toyota Land Cruiser 300 and Lexus LX are also built. The Prado immediately added 100 mm in length (now 4925 mm), the wheelbase is the same 2850 mm as that of the “three hundredth” (the indicator of its predecessor is 2790 mm).
According to the official website of the brand, in Kazakhstan the new Land Cruiser Prado is offered in six trim levels and with three engines to choose from. The basic Comfort version comes with a 2.7 naturally aspirated petrol (163 hp, 246 Nm) or a 2.8 turbodiesel (204 hp, 500 Nm), the first engine is combined with a classic six-speed automatic transmission, the second has an 8-speed automatic transmission. Under the hood of the next oldest version, Comfort Plus, a naturally-aspirated 2.7 engine is installed, and in the Prestige, Lux, Lux Plus and First Edition trim levels, the SUV is equipped with a 2.4 petrol turbo engine (279 hp, 430 Nm) combined with an eight-speed automatic transmission. All versions have all-wheel drive.

By the way, First Edition is a limited edition. Its main features are round LED headlights instead of rectangular ones, matte dark gray 18-inch wheels, an exclusive two-tone color (the body can be Smokey Blue or Sand, the roof in both cases will be made in light gray) and a number plate. In total, 80 such vehicles were allocated for Kazakhstan.

The new Prado is available with five or seven seats. Depending on the configuration, the list of equipment may include: a virtual tidy with a diagonal of 7 or 12.3 inches, a multimedia system with a touchscreen of 9 or 12.3 inches, a sunroof or a panoramic roof, a head-up display, heated and ventilated seats, all-round cameras (also there is a system that allows you to see the space under the car), off-road “cruise” Crawl Control, Multi-Terrain Select off-road assistance system, auto braking and lane keeping systems.
The price of a Land Cruiser Prado with an aspirated 2.7 starts at 31,490,000 tenge, which is equivalent to approximately 6.4 million rubles at the current exchange rate. A diesel SUV will cost at least 34,490,000 tenge (about 7 million rubles). A model with a petrol 2.4T costs from 39,490,000 tenge (8 million rubles). Finally, the special First Edition was valued at a minimum of 44,990,000 tenge (9.16 million rubles).
