Press Secretary of the Secretary of Defense 33- year-old Russian Markovskaya resigned from her position. She announced this on her Instagram page on May 22 (owned by Meta, the company is recognized as extremist in the Russian Federation and is banned).
“Almost seven years as press secretary of the Minister of Defense flew by like a MiG-31. I will remember this time with pride!” — Markovskaya wrote.
She did not name her new place of work.
Markovskaya began working as Sergei Shoigu’s press secretary in 2017. Before that, she was a correspondent and presenter at VGTRK and the Zvezda channel.
