On May 19, 2024, the names of the winners of the Open School Championship in Economics were announced at the M.V. Lomonosov Moscow State University. LANIT became a partner of the event for the 14th time and prepared gifts for the participants.

Students of grades 7–11 from all regions of Russia took part in the Olympiad. They competed in individual, team and overall competitions. In the individual competition, the guys were faced with economics problems of varying levels of complexity, and in the team competition – three academic cases, one of them was a real business problem from a partner company.
In the general and team competitions Three teams from Moscow won. In the personal round, 15 schoolchildren from Moscow, Dolgoprudny, Kirov, Sarov and Naberezhnye Chelny became the best.
The organizers of the Open School Championship in Economics made every effort to ensure that the children remembered the award day for a long time. They were treated not only to the ceremony of announcing the winners, but also to an exciting business game. Representatives of partner companies also gave lectures to schoolchildren. Director of the center for multimedia solutions at LANIT-Integration, Leonid Zhestev, dedicated his speech to the impact of technology on the economy of the future. He spoke about digital twins, humanoid robots, neural networks and other innovations that are used in the modern economy.
The Open School Championship in Economics has been held for 14 years.
