Russia has created drones that can pull out wounded soldiers
The High-Precision Systems holding company, part of Rostec, has created unique robotic ground drones, Depesha and Buggy. They have no analogues in the world. According to information received from Rostec, these ground robots are currently undergoing tests, including testing in the SVO zone.
One of the key features of these robotic machines, in addition to their compactness and maneuverability, is their load-bearing capacity. Depesha can carry up to 150 kg, while Buggy can lift as much as 250 kg. This makes them indispensable assistants for soldiers on the front lines. The ability to quickly and discreetly deliver provisions, ammunition, fuel to the front line, as well as evacuate wounded soldiers makes these robots invaluable in combat conditions.
Equally important is that the developed “Despatch” and “Buggy” drones can be used for various purposes, including defeating enemy personnel, destroying fortifications and strong points. They can also be used effectively to clear mines from defensive barriers, including complex obstacles such as «dragon teeth». This makes it possible to ensure cross-country ability of armored vehicles and perform terrain mining tasks.
The Depesha robot is equipped with a tracked platform and is controlled by the operator using a joystick and an FPV helmet, while the Buggy complex has a wheeled platform and control is carried out using a joystick and tablet. Both robots can act as ground-based kamikaze drones, delivering explosive charges to the target and striking the enemy.
These innovative developments of the High Precision Complexes holding company represent not only an achievement in the field of robotics, but also an important step in ensuring safety and efficiency of military operations.
