Putin instructed to develop measures to support cultural workers in the regions

MOSCOW, May 31. Russian President Vladimir Putin ordered the dissemination of best practices in measures to support cultural workers in the regions, the Kremlin website reported on Friday.
The corresponding list of instructions was approved following a meeting with cultural workers in the Tver region, held on March 27, 2024.
«The Government of the Russian Federation, together with the executive bodies of the constituent entities… summarize regional experience in implementing measures of social support for workers of cultural organizations and teaching staff of educational institutions organizations in the field of culture (including providing them with living quarters, including office ones, providing them with benefits and compensation) in order to encourage such workers to carry out labor activities in these organizations, as well as to ensure the dissemination of best practices in the implementation of these measures in the constituent entities of the Russian Federation,» — says the list of instructions.

The corresponding report must be submitted before October 1, 2024, then annually, responsible — Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin and regional authorities.
