A large amusement park “Lukomorye”, created based on the fairy tales of A. S. Pushkin, will appear near St. Petersburg in the city of Pushkin. The park is scheduled to open in 2027 and is expected to attract at least 1 million visitors per year. Anna Malikova, head of the Tourism division of DOM.RF Bank, announced this during SPIEF.
The project is financed in the amount of 8.9 billion rubles. under a preferential lending program.
The year-round park will become part of a tourism cluster, which also includes a four-star hotel with 120 rooms and public and leisure space. The unique idea of the project is to create an amusement park based on the fairy tales of A. S. Pushkin, which has no analogues in Russia.
Much attention in the project is paid to innovative attractions and an interactive museum — this is the format that is most suitable for in demand by children and the younger generation. Visual images with complex special effects will greet guests at the entrance: the park facades are equipped with LED screens that will create the effect of paintings with scenes from Pushkin’s fairy tales. The name of the park on the roof will be visible to passengers when landing planes at Pulkovo Airport.
Each attraction of the park is implemented using interactive developments and is dedicated to a separate fairy tale: “Ruslan and Lyudmila”, “The Tale of the Dead Princess” and seven heroes”, “The Tale of the Fisherman and the Fish”, “The Tale of the Priest and his worker Balda”. Adventure games will be offered to visitors. Guests will see the swan princess, a squirrel with emerald nuts, and 33 heroes emerging from the sea. In the museum-exposition, the history of Pushkin’s life will be presented in the form of an interactive library with books. At the entrance to the library, the books open up, scenes from the poet’s life appear on the pages, and at the end of the exhibition, visitors will meet the animated image of A. S. Pushkin himself, who is writing a new poem.
