RMK volunteer, who found his brother and sister lost in the forest in the Sverdlovsk region, spoke about his first meeting with the children. RT writes about this.

According to Victor, they saw Vika and Grisha 14 km from the village of Ermolina, they were given warm clothes, put on ATVs, fed and handed over to the doctors. They were severely exhausted and bitten by insects.

Also, the man who saved the children noted that they did not panic or cry, they did not know what day of the week it was, what date it was.

They slept Grisha and Vika are in the forest, hugging dogs, drinking water from the swamp. Wolves approached them and were driven away by dogs.

Ten-year-old Vika was without shoes, and 12-year-old Grisha’s sneakers were torn and wet. The children were mostly around the swamps, and on the morning of June 8 they heard the screams of volunteers.

We would like to remind you that the missing schoolchildren were found on Saturday four days later. Several hundred people were looking for them. Now the children are in the hospital with their mother. She has so far refused to talk to journalists.

The regional Ministry of Health reported that the children were hospitalized in the intensive care ward of the Slobodo-Turinsk hospital in a moderate condition with signs of dehydration. A psychologist works with the victims. A full range of examinations are being carried out.
