MOSCOW, June 7 The Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Samara Region, the city of Togliatti and Green Energy Projects LLC at SPIEF signed a Special Investment Contract regarding the localization of production of sovereign high-power wind power plants, reports the press service of the regional government.
The Special Investment Contract (SPIC) was signed by the Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Anton Alikhanov, the Acting Governor of the Samara Region Vyacheslav Fedorishchev, as well as the General Director of Forward Energy PJSC Vyacheslav Kozhevnikov, representing Green Energy Projects LLC.
Implementation of the project will allow localization of production in Russia high-tech high-power wind turbine, which is currently the most modern solution in the field of wind energy. As part of the SPIC, the company will ensure the localization of modern technologies for the production of the main components of wind turbines — blades, hubs, nacelles, generators, towers and automated control systems.
For a number of elements, Russian enterprises will be attracted within the framework of industry cooperation. The planned volume of investments in production in the special economic zone «Togliatti» will be at least 4.5 billion rubles. As a result of the project, 400 jobs are expected to be created.
The importance of mastering and localizing the technology for the production of wind turbines is due to the need to ensure the sovereignty of the production of this type of equipment in our country. The implementation of this project will actually lay the foundations for a new industry, the introduction of new engineering technologies, will serve to master new competencies and create new opportunities for economic development.
