“First of all, we expect that the country will have its own drones for ordinary people, such as DJI (Chinese manufacturer — ed.) — technically advanced, widespread and cheap. Drones should become gadgets. I like this word — although it is not Russian , but compact and accurate. The gadget is something complex, but small, convenient and very attractive,” Semenov said. 
He added that in addition, “we must learn to use drones in the economy and get a serious economic effect.”
«This is definitely possible, we see at least four industries that can be radically digitalized using drones — cartography and cadastre, agriculture, forestry, surveying. Drones can collect reliable and up-to-date information, very cheaply and very quickly. And obtaining information is the circulatory system of digitalization,” concluded Semenov.
