The document was signed by Alexander Loginov, vice president — director of the macro-regional branch «North-West» of PJSC Rostelecom, and Ivan Boltenkov, general director of the State Unitary Enterprise «TEK SPb». The agreement implies cooperation in the field of digital technologies and information security. In the field of digitalization, it is planned to develop comprehensive security systems at critical infrastructure facilities, create automated process control systems, as well as a unified platform for managing and monitoring a video surveillance system using neural network analysis algorithms.
“Our company is one of the leaders in creating domestic products and solutions, more than 200 of which are included in the Unified Software Register. In critical infrastructures, which include thermal power engineering, import independence, especially of digital components, is of great importance for the stability of systems from negative external influences. In our agreement with the State Unitary Enterprise TEK SPb, this aspect is given special importance along with automation and process safety,” noted Alexander Loginov.
In the field of information security, represented in the structure of Rostelecom by the Solar Group, the agreement provides for the analysis and forecasting of the main trends in cybersecurity and its threats, research into advanced developments of information security tools, as well as attack detection, search and selection of promising scientific and technical ideas.< /p>
“We are a factory of attack-centric technologies, which means that our products and services are based on knowledge and a precise understanding of attacker techniques and tools. “Solar” has a unique knowledge base about real attacks carried out on the largest Russian organizations under our protection. And studying, analyzing and making forecasts based on this information is a separate area of our activity, which is handled by the Solar 4Rays Cyber Threat Research Center. This allows us not only to develop our solutions, enriching them with signatures and indicators of compromise, but also to share our expertise with the community, contributing to the development of the industry. We are glad that the State Unitary Enterprise “TEK SPb” is open to the exchange of experience in this area, and we believe that our cooperation will have a positive impact on the cyber sustainability of modern digitalized heat and power industry,” commented Igor Lyapunov, General Director of the Solar Group of Companies .
“Strengthening technological sovereignty and the transition to domestic software and hardware solutions are among the priorities for the State Unitary Enterprise “TEK SPb”, identified by the President of Russia. The introduction of Russian complexes will allow us not only to transfer familiar processes into a digital format, but also to ensure information security,” emphasized Ivan Boltenkov.
