In Crimea, a court sentenced a commander to 11 years for shooting a soldier who missed his call

The Garrison Military Court of Crimea sentenced the deputy commander of a motorized rifle platoon, senior sergeant Chochumakov D.I. to 11 years in prison under articles of murder and abuse of power with the use of weapons and causing grave consequences. “Gazeta.Ru” writes about this.
The verdict, which the publication has read, says that the sergeant, being drunk, could not reach the soldier, came to him in the dugout, and then shot him with a gun. ;Kalashnikov assault rifle.
The incident happened in December 2023 . There was a conflict between the servicemen, as a result of which the commander shot his subordinate with an AK-74 assault rifle. The man was wounded in the stomach and died.
The defendant fully admitted his guilt and repented; he will serve his sentence in a maximum security colony.
Previously, the commander of one of the units of the Russian Armed Forces during a battle with Ukrainian troops in the Northern Military District zone “took a show off” prisoners who fought in the ranks of the Russian army. A volunteer who introduced himself as Alexander spoke about this. He stated that the soldiers released from the colony first promised the commander to stand to the end during attacks by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, but after several of their colleagues were wounded, they expressed doubts about the need to evacuate their comrades.
