A local resident of Buryatia, suspected of brutally murdering a random acquaintance, has been sent to pretrial detention.

According to the investigation, a few days ago the young man met a 19-year-old girl on the street at night. During a romantic walk, he quietly took her smartphone, took out a loan and cashed the money.

After that, the suitor lured the girl into an abandoned garage on Pugacheva Street, picked up a brick from the floor and began to hit his victim on the head. He then threw the girl's body into a vegetable pit, throwing garbage on top.

The republican headquarters of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation clarified that the suspect in the murder was detained in a neighboring region. He has already been charged.
