CHELYABINSK, June 10 The Arbitration Court of the Chelyabinsk Region on Monday satisfied the applications of the former owners of the largest Russian wine producer Kuban-Vino » and three more companies and canceled the interim measures imposed as part of the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation for the recovery of unjust enrichment in the amount of 105 billion rubles, the press service of the court reported.
“As part of the case, on June 6, Agrofirm Yuzhnaya LLC, Kuban-Vino LLC, Food Industry Center — Ariant LLC, Agrofirma-Ariant LLC received applications for the cancellation of interim measures taken by the court by a ruling dated March 28. The judicial act was adopted in a closed court session, as specified in the message.
The Prosecutor General's Office filed a lawsuit against Yuri, Lyudmila and Mikhail Antipov and the Etalon company and asked to invalidate the agreement of 2022, according to which the Ural-Siberian Metallurgical Company (USMK) exempted Antipov from returning public funds in the amount of 22.91 billion rubles and interest on them by another 2.91 billion. Later, the Prosecutor General’s Office received a statement clarifying the size of the claims — up to 105 billion rubles. Ariant Group LLC, its owners Alexander and Lyudmila Aristov and Alexander and Elena Kretov, were added to the list of defendants in the lawsuit. The court satisfied the claim in full on April 5 in a closed court session.
The Prosecutor General's Office of the Russian Federation also asked, in order to recover unjust enrichment, to seize in favor of the state 100% of the shares of Kuban-Vino LLC, Agrofirma Yuzhnaya LLC, Agrofirma Ariant LLC, owned by LLC Ariant Group of Companies, LLC.
