The four-door became the first all-electric model of the joint brand. In China, sales will start before the end of this year.
After publishing photos of camouflaged prototypes, sketches and teasers, the Lynk & Co held the premiere of its new production model. Moreover, the debut show was not held in China, but in Sweden. But in the Celestial Empire, the cars were given a thumbs up to local media: among them was the publication Autohome. Previously, the model was known as Zero, but it will go on sale under the Z10 index. Well, let us remind you that Lynk & Co is a joint project between Geely and Volvo (the Swedish company, in turn, is owned by the Chinese). The new product will be the ninth model in the range and the first full-fledged electric car (almost all other Links have a hybrid version).

The Lynk & Co Z10 is a large sedan with frameless doors and a retractable spoiler on the trunk lid. The four-door is based on the SEA (Sustainable Experience Architecture) platform with an 800-volt electrical system, which is also used, for example, by the Zeekr 001 electric liftback. The Z10 is equipped with air suspension.
The length of the new product is 5028 mm, the width is 1966 mm, the height is 1468 mm. Thus, in terms of the first indicator, the electric sedan surpassed its related five-door (4977 mm). The wheelbase of the Lynk & Co Co Z10 – the same 3005 mm as Zeekr 001. Cd coefficient – 0.198. But the trunk volume has not yet been disclosed.
The exterior of the Z10 is designed in the current corporate style of the brand, set by the Next Day concept two years ago. This style has already been tested on crossovers Lynk & Co 08 & Lynk & Co 06, as well as on the four-door Lynk & Co 07. However, in the case of the electric sedan, it was slightly rethought. In particular, the running lights of the newest Link are not clear “games”: several smaller sections were placed between the main diode dies. Additionally, the Lynk & Co Z10 can change its color. Models are equipped with 19- or 21-inch wheels.

In the cabin there is a two-spoke flattened steering wheel, a narrow instrument screen and, conversely, a large tablet for the multimedia system, on top of which central air deflectors are placed. The equipment list also includes a head-up display, wireless charging, a glass roof, a facial recognition system, heated and ventilated seats and a massager. Of course, the Z10 has all the latest electronic assistants (for example, a version with lidar will be on sale).
We haven’t talked about engines and batteries yet. It is only known that in rich versions of Lynk & Co Z10 will be offered with dual-motor all-wheel drive: such a sedan will be able to accelerate from zero to “hundreds” in 3.5 seconds. For comparison: the restyled all-wheel drive Zeekr 001, whose engines together produce 789 hp. and 810 Nm, this exercise will be completed in 3.3 seconds.
All characteristics of Lynk & Co Z10 will be revealed later. In China, sales of the electric sedan will start this year.
