The actress from “Major” died at 45

MOSCOW, June 13< /strong> Theater and film actress Gala Samoilova died in St. Petersburg at the age of 46, says the community of the New Stage of the Alexandrinsky Theater on VKontakte.
“… Our friend, actress, dancer, choreographer Gala Samoilova has passed away. <…> Our deepest condolences to Gala’s family and friends,” says the obituary.
As a friend of the actress, artist Dmitry Izotov, wrote on VKontakte, she passed away after a long illness.

Samoilova was born in 1978, and graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts in 2003. The actress's filmography includes more than two dozen works, including the TV series “Major-2”, “Mikhailov Method” and others.
