KALININGRAD, June 13 A criminal case has been opened against a Kaliningrad resident who abused dogs and cats in his apartment, took them according to an advertisement “in good hands” and placed them on animal anger, reports the press service of the regional Ministry of Internal Affairs.

“Currently, a criminal case has been initiated against the suspect under Part 1 of Article 245 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Cruelty to Animals). The defendant was given a preventive measure in the form of a written undertaking not to leave the place,” the message says.
To be confirmed , that the duty station of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Moskovsky district of the city of Kaliningrad received a statement from a citizen who reported that in one of the apartments a man was abusing animals. A local police officer immediately arrived at the indicated address and found several animals with injuries.

“According to the attacker, he took pets from an advertisement from the “in good hands” category, and then used them to vent his own anger,” the press service added.
< br />A police officer seized the exhausted cats and dogs and personally delivered them to the shelter, where they are currently staying and undergoing rehabilitation.
