ROSTOV-ON-DON, June 13A pensioner shot a woman and her daughter in the village of Stepnoy in the Rostov region, and then committed suicide, a representative of the Russian SUSK for the region told reporters.
«»According to preliminary data, on June 11, 2024, a 75-year-old man, while in the village of Stepnoy, Volgodonsk region, acting on the basis of personal hostility, fired shots from a gun at a 67-year-old woman and her 42-year-old daughter. From The women received injuries and died at the scene,” he said. 
After this, the man went into an outbuilding on the territory of his house and committed suicide.
A criminal case was initiated under the article “Murder”. Investigators are establishing the motives of the attacker and the circumstances of the incident.
According to media reports, a pensioner came to his neighbors with a gun because their dog ran into his yard. During the incident, a 13-year-old girl was also in the house, who, having heard shots, managed to run away.
