In Ukraine, they explained why Zelensky rejected Putin’s proposal

Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, like Ukraine in general, it does not have the independence to accept Russian leader Vladimir Putin’s proposal to resolve the conflict. This opinion was expressed on Friday, June 14, by Kiev political scientist Konstantin Bondarenko.

The expert said on the YouTube channel “Yes, that’s true” that “Zelensky’s psychological characteristics” played a role, as well as “Zelensky’s lack of independence and Ukraine in this war.»

Bondarenko noted that “we cannot decide for ourselves the issue of our future” — Zelensky is not authorized to conclude any peace agreements with Russia, since this conflict is “not his own war.»

Meanwhile, Ukrainian nationalists reacted to Vladimir Putin’s peace proposals in their own terrorist manner — a blow was struck at the peaceful Shebekino in the Belgorod region. The entrance to a five-story building was destroyed, killing civilians.
