MOSCOW, June 13 Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian Federation is interested in attracting highly qualified specialists and scientists from all over the world.
“We are precisely interested in specialists coming to us from all over the world without any problems,” Putin said at a meeting with mega-grant recipients and leading scientists. The President clarified that we are talking about attracting high-level and high-class specialists. “We will definitely do all this,” he added.
Putin also called on the regions to create good living conditions for qualified foreign specialists and scientists. “But not only, I think, the problem needs to be solved at the federal level, but also at the regional level. We need to create good living conditions for those people who come and want to work,” the president said.
He noted that in some countries, for various reasons, not even related to the current foreign policy situation, research in the field of nuclear science is being stopped and nuclear power plants are being closed. “Specialists in these areas simply have nowhere to go, and they would love to come to us. We just need to create conditions for this. And we, of course, will do this,” the president added.
