MOSCOW, 24 JunThe Golden Mask Award for Best Actor was awarded to Vladislav Sulimsky for his role in the opera “Ballo in Masquerade” of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky, Natalia Lyaskova was awarded for best actress in the opera «The Castle of Duke Bluebeard» by the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky, the correspondent reports.
The award ceremony takes place on Monday on the historical stage of the State Academic Theater named after Evgeniy Vakhtangov. 
“I’ve been coming to you for a long time. Thank you very much for the recognition and for the opportunity to just stand on this great stage and look into the hall,” said the artist, receiving the award.
In turn, Natalia Lyaskova was awarded the “Golden Mask” for the best actress in the opera “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle” by the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky. 
< br />Fyodor Lednev became the best conductor of the opera and received the “Golden Mask” for his work in the play “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle” at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky.
The nominations «Best Director's Work. Opera» and «Best Performance. Opera» were not awarded this year.
«Golden Mask» is a professional award that was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. The festival is held annually in Moscow and presents the best performances of the season in all types of theatrical art (drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta/musical, puppet theater).
