The directors of «Duke Bluebeard's Castle» received the «Golden Mask»

MOSCOW, June 24 Evgenia Safonova, Alina Tikhonova, Ilona Borodina and Mikhail Ivanov were awarded the “Golden Mask” for the best work of a production designer in a musical theater play «Castle of Duke Bluebeard» of the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky, the correspondent reports.
The award ceremony takes place on Monday on the historical stage of the State Academic Theater named after Evgeniy Vakhtangov.

“Evgenia Safronova, Alina Tikhonova, Ilona Borodina, Mikhail Ivanov. The play “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle”, Perm Opera and Ballet Theater named after P.I. Tchaikovsky,” announced the host of the ceremony.

Composer Dmitry Kurlyandsky was awarded for the music for the play «Katerina Izmailova», Perm «Theater-Theater».
In addition, Ksenia Koteneva and Konstantin Binkin were awarded prizes in the category “Best work of a lighting designer. Musical theater” for their work on the production of “Duke Bluebeard’s Castle” at the Perm Opera and Ballet Theater. P.I. Tchaikovsky.
The award in the category “Best Costume Designer. Musical Theater” was presented to Elena Trubetskoy for creating the production of “La Sylphide” at the Yekaterinburg Ural Opera Ballet Theater.
«Golden Mask» is a professional award that was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. The festival is held annually in Moscow and presents the best performances of the season in all types of theatrical art (drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta/musical, puppet theater).
