MOSCOW, June 24Actors Alan Albegov North Ossetian Theater named after. V. Thapsaeva in Vladikavkaz and Ilona Markarova «Teatro Di Capua» in St. Petersburg became the best actors of the drama theater according to the Golden Mask award, the correspondent reports.
The award ceremony takes place on Monday on the historical stage of the State Academic Theater named after Evgeniy Vakhtangov. 
«I am immensely grateful to my teachers, the entire cast of this performance, partners, the director of the theater. This is a common victory for the Ossetian theater. This «Mask» is leaving for the homeland of the Caucasus,» Albegov said, receiving the award.
Markarova received a prize for her role in the production of “The Pied Piper” by Teatro Di Capua in St. Petersburg. Albegov was awarded a prize for his portrayal in the play “King Lear” at the North Ossetian Theater. V. Thapsaev in Vladikavkaz.
Vyacheslav Polyakov received the award for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Theatre. He played Krogstad in the play «Nora/Nora» at the National Theater of Karelia in Petrozavodsk. 
» The Golden Mask for Best Supporting Actress was awarded to Sofia Andreeva for her role in The Beggar's Opera at the St. Petersburg Saturday Theater. “This is the second “golden mask” of our theater. I am happy,” she noted when receiving the award.
«Golden Mask» is a professional award that was established in 1993 by the Union of Theater Workers of the Russian Federation. The festival is held annually in Moscow and presents the best performances of the season in all types of theatrical art (drama, opera, ballet, modern dance, operetta/musical, puppet theater).
