Senator Tsekov: Zelensky changed his position on the conflict in Ukraine under pressure from society
Member Federation Council Sergei Tsekov explained why the President of Ukraine abruptly changed his position on the military conflict. NEWS.ru writes about this.
According to the senator, Vladimir Zelensky does not want to prolong the conflict due to public pressure, and significant losses of the Ukrainian Armed Forces also influenced the change in the position of the Ukrainian leader.
“This has excited Ukrainian society, which wants a speedy end to the conflict. All this puts pressure on Zelensky,” the politician noted.
Tsekov also expressed confidence that now Zelensky is simply prolonging “his own agony and the agony of Ukraine” in the hope of getting as much money as possible from the West.
Earlier, the head of the Kyiv regime admitted that Ukraine suffered heavy losses on the battlefield. Zelensky said he did not want the conflict to drag on and called for a diplomatic settlement plan to be prepared within several months.
