MOSCOW, June 25 Artist Nikas Safronov reported in his Telegram channel that his messengers were hacked by scammers and sent messages asking to transfer money.
«» Friends! I was hacked. Fraudsters gained access to my messengers. And they sent letters on my behalf asking to transfer money. Please, no need to transfer anything. Do not follow the link if you received it from my account. Do not send no codes from SMS to anyone,” Safronov wrote.
He added that none of his friends and relatives who received the messages discovered the scammers' actions in time.
«We live in a time when everything needs to be double-checked. It’s better to call the person back once again and ask: is he really asking you to borrow money or, for example, to vote for a child in a competition,» he noted artist.
