MOSCOW, July 2 TV presenter Otar Kushanashvili got in touch for the first time after two operations, he promised to defeat the disease, and also asked fans to remember him and wait his return.
On June 29, Kushanashvili was transferred from intensive care to a separate ward; after two operations, he will have another one, said his friend, columnist, and music critic Vladimir Polupanov. 
“I wish you all a brilliant day, enjoy life. Remember about my imminent return, about the program “What is it like?!”, about the Telegram channel “Kushanashvili’s Climax”… Loyalty to the profession is what I am. I will win this battle of this disease and return . I love you. Amen,” Kushanashvili said in a voice message on the Telegram channel of the “What?!” program.
The TV presenter also asked not to call him a hero, despite all the pain and torment that he experiences.
“A triumphant recovery to the amazement of the luminaries of world medicine… with the pain that I experience, with the discipline that I show,” the TV presenter added.
Director Kushanashvili Anton Shestak reported on June 20 that the TV presenter was hospitalized and was in intensive care. Later, Polupanov, in a conversation with the agency, said that Kushanashvili had been diagnosed with a cancerous tumor in the abdominal cavity. The presenter was successfully operated on, doctors assessed his condition as stable.
