CCTV: Chinese satellite Tianhui 5-02 successfully entered orbit

China successfully launched the Tianhui 5-02 satellite at 6:49 a.m. Friday from the Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in northern Shanxi province .

As CCTV writes, the satellite successfully entered the intended orbit. The Tianhui 5-02 satellites will be used for geographic mapping, land exploration, scientific experiments and other tasks.

The launch was carried out using a modified version of the Long March-6 launch vehicle ). This flight was the 527th flight for the Long March series launch vehicles.
