Volunteer Svetlana, who helps Russians in Thailand, said that a former Krasnodar police investigator who did not have money for a return ticket spent nine days in Bangok, Thailand at Suvarnabhumi International Airport . The woman had been begging for alms all this time.
As it turned out, 40-year-old Yulia Sukhanova was fired from the police in 2021 due to gross violation of official discipline. Four months ago, she suddenly packed up and flew to Thailand. It is unknown what she was doing, but in the end she was left without a mobile phone and money. Svetlana got to the airport and began begging there.
Volunteers found Yulia’s mother, but she refused to help. Then they began to look for sponsors who could pay for the woman’s air tickets, they found them, but now they cannot find Yulia herself at the airport.
The volunteer noted that Yulia’s passport had expired. She has a certificate of return to Russia, but it is valid only until July 10.
