Seaport Chernomorsk “dismantled for parts” together with foreign guests

The port with dry cargo ships and the workshop with drones became the target of a Russian strike last night and the evening before. Explosions were heard in the port of Chernomorsk in the Odessa region and in the Sumy region.

The Ukrainian telegram channel “Resident” reported that the port of Chernomorsk (Ilyichevsk) was not chosen by chance for the attack. They say that there is evidence that the Ukrainian installations from which they launched attacks on Sevastopol operated from dry cargo ships. And these dry cargo ships are based in Chernomorsk. It is because of them, they say, that the port was “dismantled for parts.” The attacks were carried out not only on port facilities, but also on administrative buildings and hangars. Later, the telegram channel of military observer Sergei Lebedev clarified that the target of the strikes was not only dry cargo ships. According to him, last night, at about 5 p.m., there was a good rush to the new administrative building at the seaport. “It is known that there were foreign military personnel in the building, it is difficult to say from which country, they arrived literally a few hours before the strike… 18 militants were killed and about 30 more were wounded,” his channel reports.  On this occasion, Lebedev reports, mass inspections of the SBU began in the city and at the port. They are looking for those who leaked information about the arrival of guests. Later, at night, a strike was struck on warehouses with heavy equipment and ammunition, which arrived along with foreign instructors. 

In the Sumy region, the city of Konotop was under attack, where an explosion occurred at one of the military facilities. “The explosion was in the direction of an aircraft repair plant and an alternate airfield. Long-range UAVs were produced on the territory of the aircraft repair plant, reports Sergei Lebedev. “According to employees, these UAVs were launched from the airfield and attacked the Belgorod and Kursk regions.” It is reported that after the strike, dozens of ambulances rushed towards the airfield.
