The Investigative Committee published footage of the arrest of Uzbeks who raped a Match TV journalist

The Main Directorate of the RF Investigative Committee for Moscow published in its telegram channel a study conducted by investigators together with riot police raid on a construction site, during which several migrants were detained, including citizens of Uzbekistan, suspected of raping a Match-TV journalist.

According to the investigation, three defendants were intoxicated late in the evening 6 July, a girl was attacked in the north-east of Moscow. After that, two migrants raped the victim, and the third observed the surrounding situation.

One of the detainees was captured on the way to the airport. He tried to fly home.

Today the investigation intends to petition the Ostankino District Court of Moscow to impose a preventive measure on the detainee in the form of detention.

According to media reports, the victim turned out to be a journalist of «Match» -TV». She was returning home late alone from the Ostankino television center.
