MOSCOW, July 9. The accused of murdering a man in the west of Moscow said that he did it out of personal enmity, the investigation demands his arrest, according to the Telegram channel of the capital's prosecutor's office.
In early June, 34-year-old Konstantin Balishansky was shot dead on Alexei Sviridov Street in western Moscow. A few hours later, the suspect was detained by police nearby, on Aminevskoye Highway; he resisted and was seriously wounded. Subsequently, the source reported that the alleged killer came out of a coma.
As noted by the prosecutor's office, the man has been charged with murder, illegal weapons trafficking and assault on the life of a law enforcement officer. “The accused explained that he knew the victim and committed the murder out of personal hostility towards him,” the report says.
According to the investigation, on June 6, on Alexei Sviridov Street, the attacker fired several shots once at the victim, wounding him five times, and then tried to escape, offering active resistance during arrest.
«In the near future, the court with the participation of the prosecutor will consider the issue of choosing a preventive measure in the form of detention for him. The accused will undergo psychological psychiatric examination,» the message adds.
