“Two Uzbeks raped, the third watched”: the terrible story of a girl from “Match”

Shocking news came over the weekend: an employee of Match TV «raped near the Ostankino television center. The attack happened on the night of July 6, when the girl was returning from work. At around 2:30 Moscow time, she left the television center and walked past the Ostankino pond. At that moment, she was attacked by several male migrants.
After 40 minutes, the first suspect was detained — he turned out to be 24-year-old Mukhriddin, who came to Moscow to work from Uzbekistan. Soon two of his accomplices were arrested: 25-year-old Buned and 22-year-old Javohir. Investigators opened a criminal case under the article “Rape committed by a group of persons.” According to it, the suspects face up to ten years in prison.

“According to the investigation, three defendants, in a state of alcoholic intoxication, being near a residential building, using violence, attacked a previously unknown girl. Then two defendants committed rape against her, the third defendant observed the surrounding situation, ensuring the safety of the accomplices,” < strong> said in a statement from the capital's Investigative Committee.
Later it became known that one of the suspects was caught on the way to the airport. At this stage, forensic, psychological, psychiatric and genetic examinations are carried out. In addition, as part of the investigation, law enforcement agencies identified at the places of residence and work of suspected foreign citizens who were on Russian territory in violation of migration laws.

Match TV declined to make detailed comments, noting only that the channel is aware of what happened and provides all possible support to the victim. The general director of Gazprom-Media Holding, Tina Kandelaki, was not spared by the incident. Soon after the incident, she wrote that “the rapists will be punished to the fullest extent of the law,” and every effort will be made to achieve this.

Note that the public outcry attracted the attention of the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, who requested a report on during the investigation. Kandelaki thanked him for his personal participation and gave a harsh assessment of the accused.
“»I believe that the punishment for such barbarians should be as severe as possible. Let them not think that by coming to our country to work, often illegally, they can afford to rape our girls,” Kandelaki wrote on her Telegram channel.
