ST. PETERSBURG, July 10 Two children injured in a head-on car collision in the Kingisepp district of the Leningrad region are in serious condition, one of the victims died at the scene of the accident, the press service of the regional headquarters of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation reported.
On Wednesday, the Uprdor North-West company reported a head-on collision between a car and a minibus on the 123rd kilometer of the A-180 Narva highway in the Kingisepp district. According to the department, one person died in the car, and six people were injured in the minibus, including three children.
«According to preliminary data, eight people were injured as a result of the accident. One of the victims, a woman, died on the spot. Three children… were hospitalized, two in serious condition, one in moderate condition. One of the victims resuscitation efforts are being carried out,” the message says.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
